Selection Process (SECR Apprentice Selection Process)
The SECR Apprentice Recruitment 2025 selection process will be transparent and based on merit. There will be no written exam or interview.
Basis of Selection – A merit list will be prepared based on the average marks obtained in 10th and ITI.

Salary Details (SECR Apprentice Salary 2025)
This recruitment is being done under the Apprentices Act, 1961, so the selected candidates will not get a permanent job in the government but will be provided training first. During the training period, selected candidates will be given a monthly stipend by the Railway:
Stipend Amount: ₹7,000 to ₹9,000 per month (as per government norms)
The amount depends on the trade and duration of the apprenticeship.
Important: After completing the training, no permanent appointment will be given automatically. However, the training experience will be useful in future government or private jobs.
